Christmas Romantic Comedy Script Submissions

Kelowna Film Studios is reviewing Christmas romantic comedy screenplays that can be assessed for practical production in the Okanagan. Read the current brief before uploading one complete script.

What fits the Christmas romantic comedy brief.

• Christmas is part of the central conflict, choice or emotional turn.

• The premise has a clear, current hook rather than relying only on familiar holiday decoration.

• The leads have active goals, credible obstacles and a conflict that can carry the full story.

• The tone is heartfelt, grounded and light enough for a broad seasonal audience without becoming broad comedy.

• Community, generosity, repair or forgiveness can support the main story without replacing it.

• The production shape is practical: a controlled cast, limited locations and a schedule that can be evaluated early.

Upload one screenplay.

Prepare one PDF or Final Draft (.fdx) file up to 250 MB. Add a working title and compact logline that identifies the leads, central hook and stakes.

Confirm that you control the material and note whether it has been optioned, produced or submitted elsewhere. The file is stored privately for KFS review.

How Christmas rom-com script submissions work.

Read the main Submit Your Scripts page, then upload one file through that dedicated form. The production contact form does not accept scripts or files.

Sending a pitch does not create confidentiality, representation, development, payment or production commitments. Read the Submitted Material Policy and the main Submit Your Scripts page before sending material.
