Five-person KFS crew, five locations, one shooting day, electric location power and coordinated VFX.

Produced with Norm Coyne and Barker Street Cinema

01

What the production needed.

Show location managers and producers how Princeton and its surrounding landscape could represent several cinematic worlds, from western and noir to post-apocalyptic and science-fiction settings.

02

Where the day could break.

Five distinct locations had to fit into one day, including rugged access and off-road movement. The crew also needed practical power for lighting without introducing a conventional generator into remote locations.

03

Turning the plan into a working set.

James Alton and Norm Coyne scouted the region in advance and built the day around travel time, access and visual contrast. KFS supplied the crew, lighting and grip, carried a full bed of equipment, and used the F-150 Lightning as mobile production power. Nice Stuff VFX later added a targeted science-fiction element.

04

What left the production.

The production completed all five locations in one day and delivered the raw campaign footage plus coordinated VFX. The electric truck transported five crew and equipment from Kelowna, powered the location work, recharged during dinner and returned home without a generator stop.
