Campaign for Prairie Central and Kelowna Ball Hockey
The brief
What the production needed.
Replace low-quality local advertising with a cinematic campaign capable of reaching children, youth, women and adult players across several Canadian markets.
The challenge
Where the day could break.
The footage had to support multiple audience messages, regional end tags, horizontal broadcast masters and vertical social versions. Delivery also had to satisfy Sportsnet and TSN technical requirements rather than simply look correct in an edit suite.
The approach
Turning the plan into a working set.
KFS built the campaign around controlled arena production and championship-game coverage. Strategic framing allowed an ice surface to stand in for ball hockey during one commercial shoot. Voice-over, edit structure and coverage were planned so the same campaign system could produce many distinct versions efficiently.
The result
What left the production.
The campaign produced broadcast, digital, vertical and city-specific deliverables. The 2025 material aired in Canada through Sportsnet programming connected to the Olympic broadcast period, after completing broadcaster review for picture, captions and audio levels.
